Nanocomposites of LaSrMnO-PbZrTiO (LSMO-PZT) were synthesized by sol-gel route. The powder X-ray diffraction study confirmed the phase purity and the particle size (≈30-34 nm) of the nanocomposites. Magnetic, dielectric and magneto-dielectric studies of LSMO-PZT nanocomposites reflected a coupling between dielectric and magnetic parameters near the magnetic transition temperature (T ≈ 360 K). The quantitative magneto-dielectric coupling was found to be maximum value of 1.34 in magnitude at 1.5 T and decrease with increase in frequency. This provides the signature of magneto-dielectric coupling qualitatively as well as quantitatively in LSMO-PZT nanocomposites. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
