The article discusses the structure of the mass transfer and secondary flow terms into the developed Shiono and Knight model (SKM) method aimed at clarifying the paper general concepts cited in the paper "Improved Shiono and Knight Method for Overflow Modeling." Topics addressed include the relevance of the transverse mass term, the computation of the two secondary current terms and the influence of the geometry of the compound channel and division of discrete panels. |
