| Abstrakt: | The article presents a history of the city Odense, Denmark, the City of Literature. It says that Danish author Hans Christian Andersen wrote to his friend in Odense, Henriette Hanck, in February 1832 that the city will be famous because of him. It adds that the city is the one of the oldest city in Denmark and is bound up with the history of Danish literature. |
