The article focuses on four children who protested against the city police officers who shot black person Alton Sterling on July 5, 2016 during the latter's encounter with the police. The children, who were carrying placards bearing the message "Black Lives Matter!" are representatives of their families, their peers and their respective communities. The mother of the two children brought them to the demonstration for the reason that she wanted them to see for themselves what was going on. |
