| Abstrakt: |
The article describes the case of a 40-year-old female patient with a history of fainting following a fall from bed and who developed temporo-parietal subdural hematoma because of long-term use of carbamazepine. The diagnosis is confirmed after performing noncontrast computed tomography (CT) scan of the head, routine blood investigation, peripheral blood smear, and bone marrow aspiration. The occurrence of aplastic anemia as a result of carbamazepine use is discussed. |
