A food additive Solunat of a new type has been developed on the basis of high molecular weight water-soluble polymers. The aim of this work was to study its effect on milk productivity of cows in a production environment. The supplement in a dose of 500 mg/head increased milk yield during the research period and at the end of the experiment it was higher than in animals of the control group by 9.8%. The body temperature, pulse, and respiration rates were normal and the coat was smooth. The mechanism of action of the additive that is associated with the formation of protein-polymer complexes has been considered. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
