The article discusses the utilization of catchments and geothermal areas for energy production which highlights the development of government proposed hydropower project. It offers information on the establishment of a Master Plan for Water Resources in Norway in 1981 and the Master Plan for Nature Protection and Energy Utilization of Iceland in 1997. |
