The article focuses on a collaborative project by several art centres such as Kaltjiti Arts in Fregon community in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in which several senior women collaborated for making a large scale painting which will be shown at the APY exhibition in October 2016l. Topics discussed include significance of family relationships in APY culture, views of artist Nyurpaya Kaika-Burton on the same, and depiction of a story of seven sisters in the painting. |
