Abstrakt: Hardware-in-the-loop is often implemented to validate the real-time performance of control algorithm. By analyzing the dynamics of gear shifting, the system state functions have been built during torque phase and inertial phase of shifting process. The dynamic programming method was utilized to optimize the shifting quality. And co-simulation was used for validating feasibility of controller. Hardware-in-the-loop test has been implemented with real-time processor and transmission control unit loading dynamic programming. Based on test results, the influences affecting by throttle angle and slope of road are analyzed respectively both in empty load and full load. Comparing with co-simulation results and real time simulation results, the optimal control is feasible and reliable and it provides effective way to improve shifting quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
