Abstrakt:	The article discusses a study that determined patterns of HIV status disclosure to community members by a sample of HIV-infected men and women in rural China. Topics discussed include the association of age and family income with the extent of disclosure of HIV status to community members like neighbors, village leaders, and coworkers, the extent of disclosures among older age groups, and the tendency of people with less family income to disclose more to the community.
