| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study that focuses on the detection of amphibian chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) in amphibians from Northeastern Colombia. It reveals that decline in atleast 56 species of amphibians in Central and South America have been associated with Bd. It also informs about high biodiversity of amphibians in Colombia that has been a reason of less assessment of Bd. |
