Abstrakt: The article focuses on the use of physics-based hydrologic-response simulation and finite element model developed by scientist Keith Beven as a dissertation in 1975. Topics addressed include the assumption used by other researchers regarding the application of physics-based, distributed models to simulate hydrologic response at larger scales, the application of Beven's model to spatially distributed problesm coupled the subsurface and the reviews of physics-based models of hydrologic response.
