Abstrakt: |
[Objective] To establish Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometry for determining total flavonoids in Acanthopanax girldii Harms. [Methods] Single factor experiment was carried out to find out the effects of extracted solvent, extraction method, and solid to liquid ratio on content of total flavonoids in A. girldii Harms, select the optimal condition, and determine total flavonoids in different parts of A. girldii Harms. [Results] The optimal condition of extraction process obtained from single factor experiment was reflux extracting for 2 hours at 1 :20 solid to liquid ratio using 60% methanol solution. [Conclusions] Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometry was simple, accurate and mature for determining content of total flavonoids in A. girldii Harms. This method was high reproducibility and the experimental data were highly reliable. Thus, it could be provided data support for further development of different samples of A girldii Harms.
