The article discusses the present needs for human and medical genomics research infrastructure in low and middle income countries (LMIC). It says that genomics has eased the determination of big number of genetic differences that are causal and/or risk factors for both rare and ordinary human diseases. It adds that LMIC represent a big proportion of the human population. |
