| Abstrakt: | The article provides a brief summary of the history of the dialectal theater company Legnanesi in Legnano, Milan, Italy which received little attention from scholarly studies. It presents an analysis on the connection between textual elements and the Italian literary tradition of the characters and themes in the acts of successful performances.
