The article discusses a study related to textile carbon fiber electrodes for microbial fuel cells. Topics include development of a three-dimensional electrode based on carbon fibers for an application in microbial fuel cells (MFCs); features of the 3D electrode like allowing surface-maximized growth of an efficient electroactive biofilm; and microbiological parameters for developing the electrode like geometries of the yarn cross-section. |
