The article reports the move by UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) as of late June 2016 to start the detailed design of its fuel-saving integrated propulsion system under its Ecological Integrated Propulsion System (EcoIPS) Program. Also cited are the comment by UTAS vice president for engineering Geoff Hunt on the program, and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Continuous Lower Energy, Emissions and Noise (CLEEN) program. |
