Auxiliary or orthotopic liver transplantation for acute fatty liver of pregnancy: case series and review of the literature.

Abstrakt:	The article presents a case study of two women: a 30-year-old who suffered postpartum haemorrhage and developed hepatic encephalopathy; and a 35-year-old who suffered intra-uterine fetal death and developed hepatic coma. Topics discussed include carrying out of orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) and auxiliary liver transplantation (AUX) of respective women, developing and treating of acute fatty liver of pregnancy (AFLP) and improvements in fetal mortality and maternal mortality rate.
