Investigation of the Relationship between Organizational Justice and Organizational Silence of Physical Education and Sports Teachers.

Abstrakt: Aim The aim of the present study is to determine the relationship between the organizational justice and job satisfaction levels of physical education and sports teachers. Material and Method The sample of the study included 75 males (64,6%) and 41 females (35,4%) totally 116 teachers. In terms of data collection, 'Organizational Justice Scale' which was developed by Niehoff and Moorman (1993) and Organizational Silence Scale by Kahveci and Demirtaş (2013) were used. The scales consists of 20 and 18 items (ordinary) was used in order to determine the organizational justice and organizational silence levels of the participants and average of the total scores obtained from both scales was calculated to determine the level of organizational justice and organizational silence of the participants. Statistical analyses based on (p<0.05) significant level. Data analysis included frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis to examine and compare the demographic information of participants, organizational justice and organizational silence levels managerial status, age and seniority. Furthermore, correlation analysis was conducted in order to measure the relationship between organizational justice and organizational silence. Findings The average of the organizational justice (X=2.94±.978) and organizational silence (X=3.35±.884) levels of participants was found lower than pleased degree in the result of the study. Results The results of the study indicated that there was a statistically significant negative correlation between organizational justice and organizational silence levels (r=-.607, p<0.01).
