The article presents classified and annotated bibliography of the journal Current Sociology. The bibliography is divided into five headings. They are: General Works, Demography of Ageing, Theoretical Approaches to Ageing, Status of the Aged in Major Institutions and Efforts to Improve the Status of the Ageing. Some of the topics covered in the heading General Works are Age Composition, Ecological Distribution and Migration and The Aged in the Community. Some of the topics covered in the heading Demography of Ageing are Biological and Medical Aspects of Ageing and Personality and Personal Adjustment in Old Age. Some of the topics covered in the heading Theoretical Approaches to Ageing are Biological and Medical Apes of Ageing, Personality and Personal Adjustment in Old Age and Inter-generation Analysis. Some of the topics covered in the heading Status of the Aged in Major Institutions are Marriage and the Family, Education: Agencies of Adult Socialization and Economic Institutions. Some of the topics covered in the heading Efforts to Improve the Status of the Ageing are Health of the Aged, Nutrition and Diet of the Ageing, Housing the Aged, Institutional Care of the Aged, Welfare Programs for the Aged and Pension Policies and Evaluations. |
