Bi3+ and Eu3+ co-doped LaGaO3 nanoparticles were synthesized by Polyol method and subsequently have been characterized by their structure, optical and photoluminescence studies. XRD revealed the formation of singlephase LaGaO3 nanoparticles with orthorhombic symmetry. From Uv-Vis studies, it is found that the absorption of pure LaGaO3 is less compared with Bi3+ and Eu3+ co-doped LaGaO3 nanoparticles and the optical band gap decreases in LaGaO3: Bi3+, Eu3+ nanoparticles. From Absorption spectra the synthesized nanoparticles size found to be around 10nm.The pure and doped photoluminescence studies revealed that the samples are with high structural and optical quality.
