Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a forty-seven-year-old man, who was suffering from Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), a type of orthopaedic-related bacterial infection and femoral osteomyelitis. Topics discussed include staphylococcus aureus as infectious organism for HHT, increased risk of osteomyelitis in patients with HHT, and use of Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for identifying rare organisms.
