In this article, the author discusses ontic and ontological diagnosis in mental illness. Topics discussed include views in favour of existential psychotherapist Erik Craig, psychological meaning of ontic and ontological conditions, and misdirection in psychiatric treatment by the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)." Other topics include his aim to elaborate and characterize all major illnesses, and provide alternative of DSM presenting insights of Continental ontology. |
