Abstrakt: The article discusses safety guidelines for technicians for repairing automobiles made with carbon fiber and aluminum. The main concern while repairing carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) structures relates to the possibility of obtaining slivers from the fractured fibers around the damaged area and while handling, mixing, and distributing resins. Welding fumes from aluminum are more dangerous than from steel because welding aluminum releases gases like helium, argon and carbon dioxide.
