Abstrakt: The article discusses a research that investigated the hydrogeochemical influence of the Xikuangshan antimony (Sb) mine on groundwater quality in Hunan Province in southern China. Topics covered include analysis of groundwater from local springs for major and trace elements, water-rock interactions, total dissolved solids, power of Hydrogen (pH), dominance of alkaline earths and weak acids, dissolution of carbonate and gypsum, undersaturated dolomite, acid buffering, and calcite precipitation.
