The article reflects on a research related to accuracy of thessaly test for meniscal tears. Topics discussed include issues concerning injury of tibial menisci with age and degeneration-causing repetitive microtrauma, failure of Thessaly test combined with standard physical examination tests to predict MRI results, and research on use of Thessaly test for diagnosis of a torn meniscus. |
