Abstrakt:	The author addresses the issue of the growing number of people categorized as high risk of having a disease. The author discusses the disadvantages faced by individuals who have been categorized as high risk and the reasons why some people question the validity of the high risk label and the ability of physicians to determine which individuals are high risk. He also talks about the importance of patient and doctor shared decision in terms of determining high risk.
