| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the study regarding the distribution of periodical cicadas (Magicicada) in the U.S. in 2013. The study used methods similar to those which are used for mapping other Magicicada broods species and collected 8,644 datapoints with handheld Global Positioning System (GPS) units. The study confirmed the emergence Brood II to the regions presented by Chris Simon in 1988. |
