Abstrakt:	The article presents a qualitative analysis of the experiences of parents of health visiting outside the home and of children's centres services. It also examines the usefulness of relational autonomy in the understanding of the mechanisms of the family support. It suggests that health visiting outside the home and children's centres services can foster parental autonomy, particularly in relational terms.
