Abstrakt: The article discusses the study of Elise M. Næss and colleagues about the penetrating action of commercial sunscreens' titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles into the skin. It explored the nanoparticles' ability to penetrate intact or sunburned skin with ultra violet B (UVB) exposure and standardized sunscreen application on humans. It concludes that (TiO2) nanoparticles can penetrate both intact and UVB sunburned skin beyond the stratum corneum.
