Details a study focused on two subpopulations of guinea-pig thymocytes with different maturation stages. Confirmation of the difference between the alkaline phosphatase (AP) activities of the subpopulations biochemically; Observation that the subpopulations did not differ in their homing properties; Data indicating that AP-positive cells are immature thymocytes and that weakly AP-positive cells represent a more mature subpopulations of thymocytes. |
