Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the need of new Authorizations to Use Military Force (AUMF) in the U.S. to target the terrorist organization Islamic State in Iraq & the Levant (ISIL) related to the AUMF passed in the wake of September 11, 2001 attacks. It mentions that historical background of presidential powers in the context of national security with the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer on the same.
