Abstrakt: The article explored the causes and nature of the destruction of the working surfaces of cutting tools in the processing of titanium-containing composite materials. It was established that the main causes of the destruction of the tool is the development of the adhesive, abrasive, tiring, diffusion wear and seizure processes on its surface. Typical types of surfaces fracture is the formation and development of cracks, spalling of the cutting edges and chipping of the cutting part. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
