Abstrakt: In this article, the author comments on a study conducted by researcher K. -P. Tam related to cultural transmission from one generation to another. It states that author emphasize on other possible routes of intergenerational transmission rather than looking into parent-to-child socialization. It mentions that new findings on development of values can help understand cultural dissemination. It highlights that both parents and children need to act as transmitters and receivers of values.
