The article discusses the case of a 73-year-old male patient with a nodule on the third finger of his right hand and was referred to oncology clinic postoperatively. Topics covered include characteristics of Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) group of people with the highest incidence of MCC, and reason that regional and distant metastases rates are extremely high in MCC. |
