Abstrakt: The article focuses on the grassland earless dragon or Tympanocryptis pinguicolla which has been rediscovered in New South Wales, Victoria, and the Australian Capital Territory. Topics discussed include a study by Jane Melville of the Victorian Museum on the difference between the Darling Downs dragon and T. pinguicolla, the fundraising for the research and conservation of lizards and other reptiles, and the escape strategies of the Condamine earless dragon from predators.
