Abstrakt: The article presents a field programmable gate array (FPGA)-based embedded system for enhancing the performance of complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS)-based camera image processing using the Intel Integrated Circuit (I2C) serial data transfer protocol. It describes the data transfer between camera register addresses and the I2C using the finite state machine method, the image processing for controlling the CMOS image sensor, lens mirror effect, and I2C bus configuration.
