| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on a retrospective study which reviews live births at the Unterberg Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey between May 2012 and February 2013 to determine the factors associated to hepatitis B vaccine refusal. Findings reveal that higher level of vaccine refusal rates were noticed among Caucasian and English-speaking mothers. It recommends the need for quality improvement strategies at the medical center to improve hepatitis B vaccination coverage. |
