The article deals with intracameral injection of antibiotics in line with the method of irrigation, pressurization and hydration using diluted antibacterial agents in cataract surgery. Topics covered include adding antibiotics to the irrigation bottle, the injection of a small of highly concentrated solution at the end of surgery and the intracameral antibiotics that can be used such as vancomycin and cefuroxime. |
