Abstrakt: The article focuses on professor Emanuel Donchin for his distinguished contributions to Psychophysiology. At the Thirty-Fourth Annual Meeting of the Society for Psychophysiological Research, the award for his contributions to Psychophysiology was presented to him on behalf of the Society's Awards Committee. Donchin was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1935. One of the major contributions of Donchin was the development of the discipline called cognitive psychophysiology. His second major scientific contribution is the role of psychophysiology in providing solutions to problems in applied settings.
