Abstrakt: In the present study we investigate the effect of 5-nm gold nanoparticles on the proliferation and apoptosis of spermatogenesis in rats. It is found that the per os administration of gold nanoparticles to white rats for 8 weeks at a dose of 0.57 mg/kg/day did not change the expression of proliferation proteins (KI-67 and D1 cyclin) and did not alter the activity of apoptosis (TUNEL method) in the spermatogenic epithelium. At the same time we revealed an appreciable accumulation of gold nanoparticles in the connective tissue sheath of the testes and an insignificant presence in the lumen of the convoluted seminiferous tubules.
