The article describes the case of a previously fit 37-year-old woman who gave a 5-day history of painless decreased vision in her right eye, perceived as a grey patch over the front of the vision. Topics discussed include an overview of neuroretinitis, why there is a need to recognise neuroretinitis, and where else the presence of a macular star can occur aside from neuroretinitis. |
