The article discusses a study aimed to evaluate the distribution patterns of calretinin (CR) and calbindin (CB) immunoreactive (-ir) elements in the preoptic area (POA) during guinea pig's (Cavia porcellus) prenatal development. It mentions that the study indicated that compared to CR, CB shows higher immunoreactvity in the preoptic area of the guineapig. It also mentions that CB immunoreactivity was found to be highest at 60th day of prenatal development. |
