Examines the incidence of HIV seroconversion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel from 1986 to 1988. Comparison of age-adjusted HIV seroconversion incidence rate between enlisted men and women; Demographic characteristics; Reason for the HIV seroconversion incidence rate difference between Navy and Marine Corps; Factors that could contribute to an underestimate of the HIV seroconversion incidence in the general population based on navy incidence rates. |
