Equids are host for species of Gasterophilus and Habronema, larvae presence of these parasites may lead to stomatitis and gastritis. During necropsy with special refer to stomach of one 4-year-old male Persian onager, parasites were collected from stomach and transferred to 70 % alcohol. Samples were recovered and identified as Gasterophilus pecorum and Habronema muscae. All larvae collected were washed in saline solution (NaCl 0.9 %) and identified using stereo microscope. Also, tissue samples were taken from gastric wall, the attachment place of larvae for histopathological examination, and then they were transferred to 10 % buffered formalin. Following routine processes and H&E staining, the slides were examined microscopically. Main histopathological observations were interruption of the mucosa, gastric wall thickening, prominent parakeratosis, and acanthosis.
