We describe the realization of a [sup 3]He Maser operating as an Earth magnetic field magnetometer. Preliminary experiments in order to optimize the device are first presented and finally the [sup 3]He Maser is used in the Earth magnetic field and compared with a [sup 4]He magnetometer. © 2003 American Institute of Physics.
