We intend, in this paper, to highlight the importance of the Swiss logician Jean-Blaise Grize's lifetime achievements. His contributions for human knowledge took the shape of the "schematizations" communication theory and "natural logic". We further explain how the research work that he developed after defending his thesis on the role of time in mathematics, and his allegiance towards genetic epistemology, were critical for achieving remarkable intellectual results. In addition, we discuss the reasons by which the problem of form versus content, and the importance of language were at the centre of his research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
