The article focuses on a study related to therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM)of once daily modified release (MR) tacrolimus Advagraf and tacrolimus twice daily PanGraf in renal transplant recipients. Topics discussed include the tacrolimus area under concentration time curve (AUC) being studied, reduction of AUC with the use of PanGraf, pharmacokinetic exposure being different in Advagraf and PanGraf, dose optimization being determined through an AUC while converting to PanGraf. |
