Abstrakt: Small cell carcinoma of the cervix is a rare, poorly differentiated neuroendocrine tumor of cervix showing a high propensity to spread to lymph nodes as well as distant metastasis. Earlier considered to be a variant of squamous cell carcinoma, it is now acknowledged as a distinct entity showing markers of neuroendocrine differentiation. Because of the dismal prognosis, it is important to make early diagnosis and to differentiate it from a small cell variant of squamous cell carcinoma and other differentials. We present a case of a 45-year-old female who presented with cervical growth. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
