Abstrakt: | The article presents a study which investigated complications after an ankle fracture surgery. Topics discussed include a identification of deep postoperative infection, the reasons for early reoperation after ankle fracture surgery and an investigation on the out outcome of patients who require flap reconstruction for hardware exposure after deep ankle fracture infection, and findings that smoking and prolonged operative time are independent factors for surgical site infection (SSI). |
